Homemade face moisturizer can be just as effective and luxurious as the products you buy at the store. Plus, homemade face moisturizer doesn’t contain all the unnatural ingredients as your store bought product. This recipe for homemade face moisturizer only contains 5 ingredients, which are:
INGREDIENTS:½ cup coconut oil
2 tsp. almond oil
1 Tbsp. cocoa butter
5 drops frankincense essential oil
5 drops lavender essential oil
Mason jar (4 oz)
All of the ingredients in this homemade face moisturizer are awesome for your skin.
Coconut oil moisturizes, softens, and has excellent anti-aging properties. Almond oil contains antioxidants and vitamin E. Cocoa butter delivers more moisture and antioxidants. Frankincense promotes regeneration of healthy cells. Lavender fights acne, reduces redness, and soothes skin.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all ingredients in the bowl of your mixer.
2. Whip on high for 4-5 minutes until it is light and fluffy, scrape down the sides of the bowl occasionally to include all of it.
3. Transfer contents to a small jar with a tight fitting lid.
Use after each time you wash your face to moisturize.
Note: When left in very warm temperatures (like those in your bathroom) this homemade face moisturizer may soften to nearly melting. We suggest you store it in the refrigerator; it could be refreshing to the skin especially in the summer.
